An estimated 7 out of 10 released prisoners are re-arrested for repeated crimes within 36 months of being released from prison.

Over a 9 year period, 44% of released inmates were re-arrested during their first year of being released.

Oklahoma now has more than 70,349 incarcerated and paroled prisoners under its state corrections system.

The cost to house, feed, and supervise just one inmate is $18,035 a year. The annual cost to the taxpayer is over $482 million.

WHAT IS PROJECT H.U.B.?

Project H.U.B. (Hope For Unified Benefits) is a re-entry program in the making and sister project of Prison Discipleship created to follow through with the investment of inmates’ lives even after their release.

The goal of Project H.U.B. is to provide former convicts with a safe and beneficial transition from incarceration. The program will provide former inmates with housing, spiritual counseling, the opportunity to attend church services, and assistance with employment and getting plugged back into the community.

This program is currently in the beginning stages as we are working to raise the funds to completely restore and furnish a Tulsa building for this use. We are accepting donations of any amount and greatly appreciate any contribution you choose to make. Updates on this process will be shared on this page as progress is made.
