Greetings in God’s wonderful grace,
I pray that the Lord is blessing your walk with His loving kindness and abundant joy in all you plan and do.
The Work continues to grow more with greater openings being provided each day. Men and women are finding our Lord, learning discipleship principles, and reaching to others all the time. Thank you for your continued prayers for them as well as us.
I have had so many opportunities to guide inmates to a saving knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Especially in Tulsa County Jail where I serve in four different PODs (Jail holding units that can hold as many as a 100 prisoners each). When people find themselves in a place where they have no control and are stopped to take a clear look at their lives, it becomes obvious to them that they don't have the answers.
Just the other day an inmate in a County Jail said to me, "Chaplain Steve, I just wanted to tell you when I came here I felt hopeless and wondered what I was going to do with my life with all I have to face with these charges in the future? But you shared how God used our mistakes to point us to Him for our answers and a meaningful life. Well I gave my life to Him and He gave me peace I've never experienced before and as I've grown over the past months, I've found what it is to live in Christl Finding real direction, peace and inner joy I've never witnessed before! Thank you for coming and setting my life forever! That's what the Lord does when we are faithful to answer Divine Appointments. Just a quick P.T.L. in the last month and a half I've been blessed to guide 56 men and women to a saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. It's all a "God Thing!"
You were there and shared in each eternal victory! The Lord keeps placing me in these blessings and I thank Him for it each day. We see God working in so many prisons and jails now. I hope to share more detalls on one of our works in another state prison in my next letter.
Keep praying for the Lord's supply. We have had a marked drop in funding with arowing needs in auto expenses and printing of our discipleship materials, to name a few. We are here with you to answer our Lord's commission to make disciples of all men and women.

P.S. Special prayer request with all the rest— after some tests, my doctor tells me I have an enlarged heart with water covering it. Pray for God's wisdom and healing touch. I'm going to have a heart catheter in a few days. Thank you!
